EMHS is proud to celebrate National Volunteer Week, April 10-16. Throughout central, eastern, and northern Maine, EMHS members have many dedicated volunteers that are committed to helping to serve our patients and community. In Greater Bangor, Eastern Maine Medical Center (EMMC) Volunteer Services, Rosscare, and EMHS recognize the people in our community who take time out of their day to lend a helping hand. Whether it’s calling seniors to ensure they are well, assisting our many individual departments, or a warm greeting by a patient’s bedside, volunteers brighten the day for many of our community members.
