EMHS

Keeping You Safe

As a fully integrated regional network serving the people of Maine, emergency preparedness is a critical component to the services we provide.  Along with other community partners, we have a large role in ensuring community safety and managing crises effectively and appropriately.

EMHS and its members have plans in place for a wide variety of emergency situations. Planning for a potential crisis takes multiple levels of coordination that includes both planning within our system and regionally. From natural disasters to infectious disease outbreaks, our staff and providers are experienced, highly trained, and ready to do whatever is needed to keep our communities, patients, and employees safe. The EMHS Center for Emergency Preparedness is consistently reviewing and updating procedures and policies, training, and planning to ensure the highest level of preparation.
